Cricket Wicket Testing - Sports Field Laboratory
Civiltest provides a wide range of specialist material testing services through our Sportsfield Laboratory, including tests for cricket wicket soils. These tests are critical to determine the suitability and performance of different soils for use in cricket wicket construction.
A suite of tests including full particle size distribution with hydrometer, pH/EC & Nutrients, Emerson class, cracking pattern, core shrinkage, compressive strength and organic matter are conducted on heavy clay materials for our clients, to assess a large selection of physical and chemical properties.
Testing clay materials requires time, patience and expertise. The air-drying process of the clay takes from 7-10 days to ensure a natural drying process and accurate results.
